This trip combines camping and lodge type accommodation, because some of these places are best experienced in the bush next to a camp fire.

Day 1

576 km for the day
Johannesburg to Serowe --D

We leave the morning early and make our way across the Botswana border. We stay the night in the town of Serowe. Today there will be time for a game drive in Khama Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 2

540 km for the day
Serowe to Maun B-D

Today we make our way to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. We take the rest of the day to prepare for the coming safari.

Day 3

The Okavango Delta BLD

We move into the Okavango Delta and relax with our local guides. With mokoros as transport, we travel to our campsite. Also on the agenda are a couple of walks in this unique wilderness area.

Day 4

Back to Maun BLD

We take a relaxing day to get back to Maun and prepare for our next adventure. Today there is also time to do a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta.

Day 5

Into Moremi Game Reserve BLD

We go into Moremi Game Reserve for some game drives and a fantastic night of camping. A local guide will accompany us.

Day 6

Back to Maun BLD

We game drive our way back to Maun to book into our accommodation. There will also be some time to walk around town and view some curio shops.

Day 7

210km for the day
Maun to Gweta BLD

We make our way to the village of Gweta for a village walk. There is also a walk with Bushmen that takes place in this area that is an optional extra activity.

Day 8

400km for the day
Gweta to Kasane BL-

We make our way up north to go to Kasane. We spend the rest of the day at the pool and relaxing.

Day 9

Full day in Chobe B-D

We spend the full day in the Chobe with a morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise on the river.

Day 10

100km for the day
Kasane to Victoria Falls B--

We go to the town of Victoria falls in Zimbabwe and visit the mighty Victoria Falls, also known as the Mosi-oa-Tunya, loosely translated as “The Smoke that Thunders”. We make time to do some of the activities available in this area. For example White water rafting and Helicopter flights over the falls.

Day 11

Full day in Victoria Falls B--

This day is set out for own expense activities.

Arrangements can be made for people who would like to finish their trip at this stage and fly home.

Day 12

250km for the day
Vic falls to Nata B-D

We start to make our way south, towards the town of Nata, where we view a unique sunset over the Makgadikgadi pans in the Nata Bird Sanctuary.

Day 13

490km for the day
Elephant Sands or surroundings to Palapye B-D

We start to make our way back. We drive towards the border and stay at a camp near the border.

Day 14

441km for the day
Palapye to Johannesburg B--

We sadly make our way back home.
