Day 1

220km for the day
Cape Town to Cederberg - L D

We start our trip with a drive out to the Cederberg Mountains where we stay overnight. In the afternoon, we do a hike in these magnificent mountains.

Day 2

520km for the day
Cederberg to Orange River B L D

We make our way into Namibia and camp next to the Orange River (The international border between South Africa and Namibia). The next morning we have the opportunity for a canoe trip on this magnificent river. (Own expense)

Day 3

240km for the day
Orange River to Fish River Canyon B L D

After canoeing and a wholesome brunch, we head off to the Fish River Canyon (the second largest canyon in the world). We spend the afternoon watching the sunset over this majestic canyon.

Day 4 and 5

580km for the day
Fish River Canyon to Sesriem Campsite B L D

We leave the canyon behind and travel into the desert for a full day of playing on the dunes and taking some great photos of the area. Here we will visit places like Sesriem Canyon, Deadvlei and Sossusvlei.

Day 6 and 7

360km for the day
Sesriem Camp to Swakopmund B L -

We break away from the sand and the dust and spend two days in Swakopmund in accommodation, relaxing and having some free time. Here there is a range of activities available for us to do, such as take a scenic flight over the desert, quad biking or sand boarding (all at own expense). We also do two nights of own expense meals for dinner.

Day 8

350km for the day
Swakopmund to Brandberg B L D

Taking the road out of Swakopmund, we go to see the Cape fur seals at Cape Cross. After that, we go out to view the bushman paintings of the White Lady, which is a bushman medicine man. We spend the night at the edge of the Brandberg. If we are lucky, we canmay also witness some of the elusive desert elephants of this area.

Day 9 and 10

375km for the day
Brandberg to Etosha National Park B L D

One of the best nature reserves in the world. We spend two days game driving in the area and around the salt pan. Etosha is known for its great wildlife photos with an amazing variety of species around the water holes.

Day 11

500km for the day
Etosha National Park to Rundu B L -

A long day on the road. We leave the beauty of Etosha behind us and make our way to the town of Rundu (the capital town of the Caprivi strip). We may also do a village walk if, time allows.

Day 12

250km for the day
Rundu to Caprivi B L -

We go into the north-eastern tip of Namibia to see what happens in this little piece of the country between Angola and Botswana.

Day 13

247km for the day
Caprivi B L D

We make our way deeper into the Caprivi strip and if we are lucky we may spot some of the elephants and buffalo, that call this area home, along the road.

Day 14

333km for the day
From the Caprivi we make our way into Zambia B - -

We stay over in the town of Livingstone. Here a variety of adventurous activities are available. For example: River rafting, Bungee jumping, and White water rafting, you can even cross the border and visit the Chobe game reserve in Botswana.

Day 15

Livingstone B - -

This day is free for activities in and around Livingstone.
